The main character is named Hugo, who represents Zaady as a child. He lost his father at the age of 9, and his mother ended up in a rehab clinic, causing him to move in with his grandparents. From this, the film tells the trajectory of a young man with a difficult and troubled personality who, upon arriving in Aracaju, starts dating Scarlet, a determined and engaging woman, but hides from her that he has another relationship with Duda, a drag queen who works in a nightclub in town.
